# Build tracker
What is built, what is known to be missing, and when each screenshot in this guide was taken. The screenshot table is written by `npm run tracker` in `background/`, which also runs at the end of every capture.
### What is built
| Area | What works |

| Sign-in | Email, password and an emailed code. Trusted browsers skip the code for 30 days. Studio setup by activation code, with a recovery key file. |
| First run | A new studio sees a welcome card (logo, add a production, invite the team) until it has a production or picks "Skip for now". |
| Home | Admins: production thumbnails, shoots this week, and "Needs you" items with in-place actions. Crew: next call, call times, their productions. |
| Productions | List; overview; six-stage pipeline (click to change); a Shoot day button that turns red only in the week of a shoot. |
| Plan | Brief, shot list, locations (offline sunrise and sunset), schedule and printed-style call sheets (email to crew, live link), tasks. |

### Known gaps
Things the app says or implies that are not there yet, or that work in a narrower way than the copy suggests. These are the facts behind the "not built yet" notes in the articles.
**Not built yet**
* Pictures Up Drive, the Mac app. "Render on my Mac" in the viewer only says so.
* Camera QR scanning in the browser. Shoot day asks for the code to be typed.
* A service worker, so Shoot day cannot be loaded from scratch without signal.
* Changing your email address.
* Managing trusted browsers.
* A licensed gear catalogue with photos. The name autofill suggests from the studio's own library.
* Real integrations. Connecting records the choice only.
* Saving the storage choice, switching plans, or metering rendering and streaming. Prices are placeholders.
**Works, with limits**
* Watermarks are on screen only. Downloads are not marked.
* "Download all" on a share page downloads files one by one, not as a zip.
* Guest uploads to share links do not resume after a dropped connection.
* A talent release's signing link cannot be switched off on its own. It stops when the release is signed or removed, or after 30 days.
* Signatures made on set wait unencrypted in the phone's browser until they sync.
* Turning profile sharing off stops updates but does not remove what a studio already has.
* The Studio drive has no starting folders; "Brand assets, templates and music" is a suggestion in the empty state.
* The trash is emptied one item at a time, by an admin.
* The keyboard hints U, I and ⇧S in the New menu and Search are shown but not bound. N, ⌘K and ⌘\ work.
* "Send a new code" on the sign-in page returns to the first step rather than sending another code.
* The Share links page is reached from the viewer's Share menu or by its address; there is no sidebar entry.
* A link's or a client invite's email text is fixed; there is no message field.
* Old `.xls` quotes cannot be imported; save them as `.xlsx` or `.csv`.
### Screenshots
Taken from the invented sample studio, Lantern Bay Pictures, with every name, email and number made up. The table is regenerated from `captures.json` by the tracker script.

### Keeping this page current
1. Start the screenshot studio: `npm run local:docs-studio` in `app/`.
2. In `background/`, run `npm run capture` for everything, or `npm run capture -- ` for matching shots. The tracker table updates at the end of the run.
3. Update the two tables above by hand when something is built or a gap closes.
